Location: Calgary, AB – Mayfair Place location #132, 6707 Elbow Drive SW
Travel to Mayfair clinics within Alberta and Saskatchewan may be required
The Opportunity
Reporting to the Manager, Human Resources, the Coordinator, Total Rewards is a key member of the Human Resources team. This role is one of two positions on the Total Rewards team, working collaboratively to support a multi-provincial, multi-location organization that includes clinical teams, administrative staff, customer contact centre employees, and radiologist partners.
In this role, you will contribute to the administration, coordination, and continuous improvement of Mayfair’s total rewards programs, including group benefits and retirement, leave management, and recognition and perks. You will work closely with the HR Manager, payroll, operations leaders, and external partners to ensure programs are compliant, well-communicated, and aligned with organizational goals.

Hiring Salary Range: $65,000 to $70,000/year

Responsibilities
Group Benefits and Retirement
- Administer group benefits and retirement programs including health, dental, life insurance, disability, EFAP, and savings programs
- Process benefit enrollments, changes, and terminations for employees and partners
- Respond to benefit inquiries from employees and partners through the benefits inbox
- Liaise with insurers, benefit consultants, payroll, and internal stakeholders to resolve claims and coverage issues
- Maintain accurate benefit records and perform audits to ensure compliance and data integrity
- Support annual benefit renewals, benefit design changes, and wellness spending allocations
- Contribute to employee education through SharePoint resources and internal communications
Leave Management
- Administer and track all employee leaves of absence including short-term disability, long-term disability, WCB, personal, and protected leaves
- Act as the primary liaison between employees and third-party adjudicators
- Provide guidance on leave entitlements, documentation, timelines, and processes
- Coordinate fitness-for-work documentation, accommodations, and return-to-work planning
- Maintain confidential and accurate leave records in Dayforce and related trackers
- Participate in disability meetings and lead monthly leave discussions with stakeholders
- Monitor leave trends and support initiatives to reduce lost time and claims costs
Recognition and Perks
- Administer employee recognition programs including gift card initiatives
- Coordinate engagement budgets, recognition weeks, and company-wide events
- Support planning and execution of long service awards, Stampede events, and holiday celebrations
- Manage vendor relationships related to employee perks and recognition programs
- Coordinate invoices and expenses related to recognition and engagement initiatives
Qualifications
- Post-secondary degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Commerce, or a related field
HR diploma or certificate required if degree is in another discipline - Actively working toward the CPHR designation
- Minimum two years of HR experience including exposure to benefits administration
- Experience with leave management and third-party adjudicators considered an asset
- Knowledge of Employment Standards, Human Rights, and Workers’ Compensation legislation
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office and HRIS platforms; experience with Dayforce and SharePoint is an asset
- Strong organizational, analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills
- High attention to detail, discretion, and respect for confidentiality
