This is a 20-hour/week part-time hourly position responsible for stewarding The Friendship Center’s volunteer program to increase agency capacity and provide meaningful community engagement in our mission.
An integral member of the development team, this role builds strong relationships with volunteers and staff, develops meaningful volunteer opportunities, and ensures volunteers feel valued, prepared, and connected to the impact of their service.
Success in this role includes launching a structured volunteer program, increasing volunteer engagement and retention, and expanding community connection to TFC’s mission. This role works in a trauma-informed environment and is supported by organizational policies, training, and supervision to promote staff well-being.
